Paradise Island Honeymoon Tour 07 Day

This tour covers some of the mostly visited romantic locations in Sri Lanka. You will experience wonderful sceneries, candlelit dinner and private Beach BBQ night with some exciting sightseeing experiences including whale watching tour, leopard safari at Yala National Park and city tours in two beautiful hill country cities during this 7-day honeymoon tour. On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our chauffeur guide and transferred to Negombo. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying at the Hotel facilities. In the evening, you will be taken to a nearby river to enjoy romantic private cruise dinner. You will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

Spend overnight stay in Negombo.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Bentota. (Approx. 3 hrs.' drive). You can engage in some water sports if you're interested. Then go have a river safari at Madu Ganga. Located in Balapitiya, Madu Ganga is famous for its unique mangrove vegetation lines and caves. A relatively unspoiled lagoon, the Madu Ganga estuary is a 915-hectare complex coastal wetland ecosystem that opens to the Indian Ocean. In this boat trip, you can see kraal-fishing constructions and fishermen making their way in rowing boats to collect their day's catch. Worship at temple island, fish therapy and visit to a cinnamon island are some of the activities you do during this boat ride. Thereafter we will take you to visit a Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda. Kosgoda is famous for its sea turtle conservation project. The hatchery buries the eggs in the sand, and when they hatch around 50 days later the baby turtles are released into the sea at night. Turtle hatchery also has tanks for injured or disabled turtles, including albino turtles that would not survive in the sea.After this visit, you will be taken to Mirissa.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mirissa fishery harbor where you will start a whale watching tour. Mirissa is one of best places in the world to see Blue Whales and Sperm Whales on the same sailing. You will have a better chance of seeing these incredible animals during their annual migration from November to April when continental shelf is narrow to the South of Dondra. In addition to the whales, dolphins, and turtles are also seen in this area. Here you can witness Blue whales, Bryde's whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and Common Dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner Dolphins, Risso's Dolphins and Striped Dolphins with a bit of luck. On completion, you will be transferred to Yala (Approx. 3 hrs. drive). Check in to Leopard Nest luxury campsite. In the evening you will be taken to a private beach where you can experience a romantic BBQ dinner with a bottle of wine.

Take an early morning start with packed breakfast and lunch to enjoy a full game drive at Yala National Park which may take about a 5,6 hourwith game viewing opportunity with the safari team. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world's biggest concentration of leopards. The leopards are more elusive and primarily nocturnal in other countries but are easier to spot in Sri Lanka than any other place in the world. Elephant, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Hanuman Langur, Toque Monkey, Stripe-necked and Ruddy Mongooses, Wild Boar, Golden Jackal, Land and Water Monitor and Marsh Crocodile can be seeing during your Safari. We provide light refreshments, water bottles and picnic lunch during the safari.

After breakfast, you will be driven to NuwaraEliya via Ella (Approx. 4 and half hrs. drive). In the evening, you can enjoy a city tour in NuwaraEliya. Known as Little England, the town of NuwaraEliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows. During this tour, you will visit Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, 19th century Golf Club and drive around the city. In the evening, you will be taken to Calamander Lake for a romantic candlelit dinner by the Gregory Lake

Spend overnight at a hotel in NuwaraEliya.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Kandy (Approx. 2 and half hrs. drive). On your way, you will see acres & acres of greenery, tea plantations all around. Step in to a tea factory and experience the glimpse of Ceylon tea making process and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. In the afternoon you will be able to enjoy a city tour of Kandy. Kandy, also Known as the hill capital or Hill country, is the last stronghold of Sinhalese kings after Portuguese, Dutch and British ruling periods. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The upper lake drive is more scenic and memorable. Today Kandy is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture. Visiting gem lapidary, art and craft center along with a traditional cultural show will complete the city tour in this small historical town.
