Meet and assist on arrival by our representative and get transferred from Airport to Bentota. On the South coast of Sri Lanka lies the city of Bentota. Beruwala and Bentota are the best areas for water sports such as water Scooter rides, wind surfing. Para-sailing, water skiing, and river cruising. Beruwala has necessary facilities for deep-sea Fishing and wreck & coral reef diving. Many interesting sightseeing tours are possible from here, such as the Turtle Hatchery, Garden Brief, Boat trips on Bentota River etc.

Overnight in Bentota

Breakfast at the hotel stay at leisure at the hotel or at the beautiful Southern coast. Visit Madu River and go on a boat ride through the mangroves trees and cinnamon islands. Madu River is having a great biodiversity you really need to experience it while staying in Bentota. Thereafter visit a turtle hatchery. You will be able to witness five species of turtles-Green Turtles (Cheloniamydas), Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelysimbricata), Loggerhead Turtle (Carettacaretta), Leatherback Turtle (Dermochelyscoriacea) and Olive Ridley Turtle (Lepidochelysolivacea). The eggs collected by the Villagers and Fishermen are purchased by the Kosgoda Hatchery and kept in sandy pens until they are hatched. The newly hatched ones are kept in seawater tanks and released to the sea in the night. This Hatchery alone has released more than 1,750,000 young turtles to the sea. An endowment by the Hasselblad Estate was responsible for the establishment of this hatchery.

Overnight in Bentota.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Weligama. Experience the fading tradition of Sri Lankan Stilt fishing. The practice started during World War II when food shortages and overcrowded fishing spots prompted some clever men to try fishing on the water. At first they used the wreckage of capsized ships and downed aircraft, then began erecting their stilts in coral reefs. Two generations of fishermen have eked out this physically demanding existence at dawn and dusk along a 30-kilometer stretch of southern shore between the towns of Unawatuna and Weligama.

Overnight in Weligama.

Pack your breakfast and proceed to Mirissa to be there at the deck for whale watching. It will be a 4,5 hrs journey on the deep sea of Indian Ocean. The coast of Mirissa has sunny weather throughout the year, with white sandy beaches, calm, placid and warm waters, and ideal for underwater activities and for Whale watching. Transfer back to hotel in Weligama.

Overnight in Weligama.

Breakfast at the hotel Transfer to Galle. The seaside town of Galle is 116 Km away from Colombo by road or rail, down the south coast of Sri Lanka. Both routes are picturesque, following the coastline closely for much of the way. Take a walk to the Galle Fort and the Museum. You can also take the Southern Expressway to reach Colombo. You will stay at a hotel near famous beach location in Colombo called Mount Lavinia. It's a suburb of Colombo and famous for beach parties and many more happenings.
